1) Micro-D SRIMD Series 100 Top

Traditional configuration with the flange located at the mid section of the connector. Designed to laser weld into an electronic chassis wall. Available in aluminum, titanium, stainless steel and all other ferrous materials including Kovar.

2) Micro-D SRIMD Series 500 Top

Similar functionally to #1, but the flange is smaller and located at the top of the connector. This configuration is advantageous if the customer has a low profile electronic package where the space is not available for a traditional Micro-D or if the flush mount is preferred. This connector is also designed to laser weld into place and is available in all of the same materials as #1.

3) Micro-D SRIMD Series 1000 Top

This connector is designed to weld mount from the opposite side when compared to #1 and #2. It also has a low profile and is available in all of the desired materials. The main application for this connector is in high vacuum components like infrared Dewar assemblies where the internal surfaces of the device need to be smooth and continuous.

4) Micro-D SRIMD Series 2000 Top

This connector is designed to seal to a package wall by compressing an O-ring against the inside surface of the wall using the jacking screws. The standard material for this Micro-D is 304L stainless steel.

5) Nano Dual Lobe SRIND Series 100 Top

Nano connectors are based around the .025” pin spacing. This connector is available in all of the same materials as the Micro-D listed above in #1 and is manufactured to be compatible with the industry standard interface created by Airborn and Omnetics. This configuration has the flange located at the mid-section of the connector to provide a traditional mounting arrangement. It is designed to laser weld into an electronic package wall.

6) Nano Dual Lobe SRIND Series 500 Top

Same basic design as #5, except the flange is located at the top of the connector to provide a means to flush mount the connector into a package wall. Available in all of the popular materials, aluminum, titanium, stainless steel and all other ferrous materials including Kovar.

7) Nano Dual Lobe SRIND Series 1000 Top

This connector is similar to #5, but the flange has been extended and the body has been plated to facilitate solder mounting to the external surface of an electronic package wall.

8) Rack & Panel SRIRP Series 100 Top

The mating interface of this connector conforms to MIL-C-28748 and is polarized by it’s jacking hardware. This connector is popular on many microwave projects and is available in all of the materials mentioned above. Aluminum and titanium are the most popular materials for the laser weldable version of this connector while the Ni/Au plated stainless steel is the material of choice for the customers that want to solder mount this part. Pins can be either BeCu or Inconel.

9) 50 Ohm Feed-through SRIFT Series 100 Top

Available in aluminum and titanium. Designed to laser weld to an electronic package wall. After installation via the laser, this connector will usually have a flange mount adapter screw mounted over the external pin. External adapters will be SMA, SSMA, BMA, SMP or similar cable connectors. Pin diameters, end finishes and lengths are available to any requirement. Standard diameters are .012”, .015” and .020”, but any diameter can be accommodated. The dielectric material is 7070 Corning equivalent glass which provides the ultimate in electrical performance. (YYY = SMA etc)

10) Internally Threaded 50 Ohm Feed-through SRIFT Series 500 Top

Similar to #8, but this connector is designed to accept threaded barrel connector adapters instead of the flange mount style. This connector is most popular as a “spark plug” replacement using an SMA barrel. It is available in all the popular materials. Standard sizes include the .250-36 and the .190-36 with the same standard pin diameters as mentioned in #9.

11) SMP Weldable SRIFT Series 1000 Top

This connector is similar in configuration to the parts described in #10. Instead of threads this connector has the SMP detent machined into the connector body and a laser weld flange made of titanium, stainless steel or aluminum. Available in Full, Limited or No detent configurations. (ZZZ = FUL, LTD, or NOD)

12) SMP Solder Mount SRIFT Series 2000 Top

This connector is manufactured from Kovar and is Ni/Au plated to facilitate solder mounting. It is DSSC spec compliant and can be furnished with the appropriate solder preform to make the installation easy. Also available in all body configurations, pin projections and detent options. (DSSC = Defense Supply Center )

13) Single Pin Feed-through SRIFT Series 3000 Top

The 50 Ohm feed-through is manufactured from Kovar and glass while the DC feed-throughs can be manufactured using our proprietary Ceramax and stainless steel. These feed-throughs are designed to solder mount into the side wall or floor of a electronics package and their Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) can be tailored through material choices to match the package material for a stress free solder joint. Solder preforms supplied if desired.

14) Multi-pin Circular SRICMP Series 100 Top

Any configuration of multi-pin circular connector can be manufactured using the Ceramax seal and any number of shell materials including aluminum, titanium, stainless steel and all other ferrous materials including Kovar. A popular example would be a 38999 series III with an aluminum shell. These connectors can be manufactured with BeCu or Inconel pins. Circular connectors can also be configured with fiber optic feed-through.
