SRI Hermetics maintains a state of the art machine shop with a full complement of turning and milling machines inside our facility to respond to quick turn projects, tooling and critical prototype jobs.  We have over a dozen different machines, all the appropriate inspection tools and a highly trained/experienced staff that have been carefully chosen to give us a full range of capabilities. 

However, we do not subscribe to the philosophy that vertical integration is the best way to maintain a competitive business.  With the hundreds of different specialized metal cutting machines that exist in today’s market place it is neither practical nor economical for us to fabricate all of our different metal components in house.

Therefore, in an effort to keep the cost of our products low, the quality high and the delivery times down we have established a network of key machining sources that have unique capabilities, equipment and expertise.  With the support of our team it is possible for us to optimize the metal cutting portion of our business and pass the savings on to our customers. 

With our in-house capabilities coupled with our subcontract team, SRI Hermetics can offer capability and value far beyond what is available from our competitors that practice vertical integration.
